In order for you to gain the most from your Real Food Farms CSA experience, please read the following document carefully as it outlines the policies that keep our CSA working smoothly for all of our members.
CSA is an exciting alternative to grocery stores. By supporting the farm directly you eliminate the middle man, reduce packaging, lower your carbon footprint, and in exchange, receive nutritious, locally grown organic foods. We do all we can to assure a full and wonderful harvest, but certain things are beyond our control, and may reduce yields, create substitutions, or result in complete losses.
Real Food Farms cannot guarantee the delivery of specific crops at specific times in specific quantities.
- As a CSA member, I understand it is my responsibility to pick up my weekly share of food from my chosen pickup location during the designated time frame.
- If I cannot pick up my weekly share, I understand that it is my responsibility to choose one of these options:
- Make arrangements to have someone pick up my share and check off my name on the sign-in sheet.
- Donate my share
As a CSA member, I understand that if I do not pick up my share within the distribution time frame, it will be donated to an interested party or facility, designated by pickup location host. Please let us know if you cannot make the pickup time so someone is not left waiting for you extra time and you're not coming.
- Payments: Real Food Farms CSA uses a web-based software program called Farmigo. With it, CSA members have online access to their own accounts. You also have an option to pay by check mailed to 304 Gainsway Ct, Franklin, TN 37069.
- As a CSA member, I agree to pay my account in a timely manner and keep my membership account information up to date.
- Real Food Farms CSA communicates with its members mainly through email and Facebook, our weekly emails include share contents, recipes and/or tips for processing and handling of certain food items, farm updates, policy changes, and the like. Real Food Farms CSA does not sell or rent our email list.
- As a CSA member, I understand that it is my responsibility to open and read the emails (including payment notices) so that I stay informed. If my email address or any other contact information changes, I will contact service@realfoodfarms.com or (615)604-3886.
- I can cancel my membership at any time.
- As a CSA member, I understand that it is best for Real Food farms if I can utilize any remaining balance once I realize that I need to cancel, and will apply my best efforts to do so. If a refund is required, I will allow up to 30 days to receive it. I understand that $50 of the CSA fee is a non-refundable administrative fee.
